I tuned the design a little and increased the number of slats. I’m favoring the vertical ends versus the angled ends, we shall see when the renderings are complete. I added a center bar for support and homage to the original Nelson Bench design. More to come -

Started sketching ideas for a 
new furniture design. Nelson & Apple Powermac/MacPro inspiration.. Six wooden slats with 12, maybe 11 gauge, anodized aluminum end pieces. Birch or Ash for the slats. Next up outlining the 2D design for the end pieces.
